I typically teach in hour block sessions for KS2, and half an hour for KS1. I take a constructivist approach, scaffolding learning to prevent cognitive overload. I differentiate based on the child's needs and age related expectations. I am offering tutoring in maths and literacy, and science if needed.
I have been tutoring for over a year, and am in my first year of primary teaching as an ECT.
