About Christopher
I graduated cum laude from Trevecca University in 2022 with a business degree and a passion for Language Arts. After several years working in the music industry, I moved to the world of adult education. There, I've gained experience teaching students directly, developing educational resources and curriculum, supporting learners at different academic levels, and coordinating relationships between students, teachers, and volunteer tutors.
In the coming years, I’d like to shift into a career as a high school English teacher and would love to start that journey by helping you gain confidence in your reading, writing, and Language Arts skills.

Hello, my name is Christopher Hodgin, and I am a 26-year-old English Language Arts tutor. I want to help you reach the heights of your academic capabilities! Whether you'd benefit from homework help, test prep, brainstorming, or coming up with a plan for long-term change, I believe that with the right amount of effort and the right steps, any student can achieve the goals they set for themselves.
I offer support for a wide range of grade levels. A typical lesson plan starts with follow-up from last session, followed by a review of what you're currently working on in school. After each lesson we'll create a plan together that helps you aim for success on your schoolwork and in the classroom.
I don't just teach English - I teach valuable life skills you'll take with you wherever you go. I want to make sure that you not only feel like you've gained knowledge on the relevant subject matter, but also feel equipped with the right skills to tackle anything life throws your way.
