I have an understanding of bringing multiple perspectives to the discussion of content, including attention to learners’ personal, family, and community experiences and cultural norms during all classes.I understand and identify the differences in approaches to learning and performance and know how to design instruction that uses each learner’s strengths to promote growth.

I am a Maths, physics, chemistry teacher teaching IB and IGCSE board. I have eight years of experience in total.Since my childhood, I had a great inclination towards teaching. I remember when I was hardly 12 years of age, I used to teach small children of my locality because I love sharing my knowledge.With time I also realized that I get more ideas and clarity on the subject when I exchange my experience and knowledge with others as it always enforces me to look for different ways to explain things in the most simplest and easiest way.
I believe it is imperative to view the relationship between student and teacher as one that is co created.Much as I hope students to learn from me, I too equally look upon them to learn things from them. During the classroom space, we work together in creating a harmonious environment.
As a part of the learning- teaching process, I continuously reflect on my ways/approach to teaching to make sure students are learning things in a creative and meaningful way .
I think bringing variety in class is so crucial as students learn the concepts better when explained in different ways as every student has different levels of learning abilities.I enjoy bringing in difficult topics and breaking it into small chunks. I include different approaches in my class, including reading, writing, discussion, role play, case studies, reflection,quizzes and lecture.
Lastly, I believe teaching is a lifelong learning while sharing and I continue to learn as I teach.
