About Kourosh

Having started the guitar at 7 and becoming professional from 15, I am very aware of the challenges and obstacles in learning the guitar (or any new skill) and building discipline and practice routines even when the motivation isn't there. It's all about feeling like there's a reason to pick up the guitar. Even if the reason is to just play the guitar. I'm obsessed with learning, myself I speak 3 languages and play several instruments just because I wanted to learn. In the process I began to understand very intricate things about learning and what it is that helps us stay focused, enthusiastic and how learning is like turning on a tap. The more you build learning into your life, the better you get at it. I have taught workshops and one-on-ones all over the world and no matter where someone is from or which language they speak, the one common factor is the need to feel inspired and guided in the right direction for their needs. This is something I have full capability of providing for you.

About the lesson

I have taught workshops and one-on-one lessons all over the world and in various different languages. Understanding a student's needs is an intuition I pride myself on having. My lessons will cover all ages and ranges. From total beginners to highly advanced players who want to talk about niche aspects such as complex rhythms and harmony. We will work to tailor the lessons to your needs. Aspects that I specialise covered are Jazz, Rock, Flamenco, South Indian rhythm, Persian, Azerbaijani and songwriting.
