About Alakananda
I am a Physics graduate (M.Sc.) located in IIT Madras area with 5+ years of teaching experience at the B.Sc undergraduate levels (B.Tech, B.Sc.(Hons,General, Engineering Physics). Currently, I am associated with a US-based online teaching platform for high school/engineering students. My previous experiences include working as an assistant teacher in a convent school (1 year) as well as an assistant professor in a reputed engineering college (1 year). I have qualified both GATE Physics as well as West Bengal SET (State Eligibility Test) examinations. I offer (All over India) online tuition to B.Sc Physics Hons, Physics Pass course(B.Sc) Engineering Physics, X-XII final board exam aspirants for the past 5 years. Special classes are available for competitive national level Physics Exam.

Having an elaborate first-hand experience both in classroom teaching as well as tuition and catering to students with diverse skillset/aspirations, I have devised my own methodology of teaching.
I use a top down approach in teaching. First, I provide a broad picture of the domain along with relevant practical applications. Only after that I start delving into conceptual or mathematical details. Often, my explanations are intertwined with mathematical exercises that help students grasp the concepts more effectively. I believe one can grasp the concept of physics and mathematics by more and more problem solving. Language preferred English and Bengali.
