About Elaine
I received Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Linguistics at San Jose State University and a Master's degree in Archaeology at the University of West Florida. I work for a private firm, but wish to engage in an academic setting once again. I thrive when presented with the opportunity to provide insight and guide students through tough problems. I believe education is one of the most important aspects of a well-balanced society, and seek to bolster our shared community at large.

I spent the better part of a decade tutoring, running tutoring centers, and building academic coaching programs. I engage with students at their level, providing structure and support to allow them to find their own methods and build on their critical thinking so they can become independent learners, which will guide them to success in their course and throughout their life.
