About Shania
I have just spent a year teaching ESL English in Taiwan with the Fulbright Foundation for Scholarly Exchange, where I enjoyed connecting with English learners across cultural and linguistic domains. I have a lot of resources from my year of teaching that I am happy to share with you.
Additionally, I am an avid language learner myself - who has studied Chinese for 9+ years and is currently self-teaching Spanish and Hindi. I understand what it is to learn a language and take that same level of empathy, kindness and patience into every language lesson I engage in.

I take a very thoughtful approach to language learning. I think about the practical uses of everyday vocabulary, phrases, and grammars; I also think about what makes learning fun and motivational for learners to keep with language learning. I am also someone who cares about the learner's goals and will use them in our every lesson. Taking all of these things into account, I am sure you will have a good time taking my lessons!
