Because I'm a huge believer in meeting others where they are, instead of where you want them to be. Every time I train a new employee or tutor a student, I like to start with getting a baseline of what they already know, what they're confident in, and what they're maybe not so confident about. Then, I like to teach using the "I do, we do, you do" method. I'm especially passionate about working with grade school-aged kids who need some extra help with English.
