About Deborah
I am a physicist who has worked at labs around the world (including CERN, FermiLab, and 3M Laboratories). I obtained my bachelor's in Physics at USF and my masters in Nuclear Physics at ISU. I have been tutoring since 2014 and my students have gone on to ace their classes and do well on standardized tests. I was also a TA for two years teaching college level physics for engineering students.

I believe that practice is the best way to learn math or physics. I like to first see where a student struggles, either with a diagnostic test or by simply asking where they struggle. I will then find practice problems. I will typically do one problem, demonstrating every single step while outlining my thought process, then ask that the student complete a problem on their own while I provide assistance if they get stuck. I repeat this process until the student is comfortable with the type of problem
