About Precious
I am a Forensic Science graduate and I have experience in tutoring Mathematics at a Primary and High school level, on a one-on-one basis. I was also a course facilitator while I was doing my honors degree. This position entailed providing academic assistance to undergraduate students and assisting with the practical demonstrations.

I believe in conducting interactive lessons and so my lessons involve presenting the content, with visuals to aid the learner in grasping quicker and easier, having discussions around the topic and doing activities where I can be able to see how much the learner has taken from the lesson to know if I need to go through the work again with learner using a different approach or if the learner now has a good understanding of the work. I use the activities as well to assist me in focusing more on what the student struggles with.
I always include a question and answer session as well to make the learner comfortable to ask if they do not understand something or if they generally want a particular part of the lesson to be repeated. I also believe in giving the learner breaks in between the lesson (if time allows) to get a bit of a breather, especially if it's hectic content that is being covered.
