About Rochelle
I am a fully qualified teacher with over 5 years teaching experience. I have a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCE) in Primary education, with a specialism in Early Years and Key Stage 1.
During my third year of teaching, I trained to become a phonics and reading specialist, this enabled me to work closely with other phonics experts delivering high quality literacy lessons for Primary aged children. Phonics is a passion of mine as I believe early literacy is the key to success.
I have taught and tutored in Dubai where I previously lived for two years before moving back home to London.
As a early literacy expert, I have experience tutoring dyslexic and non-dyslexic children with the appropriate resources to help them succeed.
I offer tutoring services to Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils. Additionally, I offer tutoring services for Year 1 pupils sitting the Phonics Screening assessment (a national reading assessment for all Year 1 pupils)

My Phonics lessons follow a structured programme designed to support children become confident readers. My lessons are 45 minutes long, with interactive games and activities to help children phonetically read and spell.
