About Ariana

Hi! I’m Ariana, an 18-year-old student currently studying English Literature at A Level. I aspire to become a teacher and love helping younger students feel confident and supported in their studies. I focus on Years 7–9, making lessons friendly, clear, and engaging so students can improve their skills while building confidence. I like to think of myself as aiming to be a bit like the new Miss Honey from Matilda — encouraging, patient, and supportive, helping every student feel proud of what they can achieve.

My lessons are designed to help students feel more confident with grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, and essay skills. Hi! My name is Ariana, and I offer English tutoring for Years 7–9 (Key Stage 3). I help students build confidence in grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, and essay skills, preparing them for the step up to GCSEs. My approach: I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s pace and style. I use clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and practical exercises to make English less overwhelming and more engaging. I also encourage discussion and questioning, so students feel comfortable expressing their ideas. Lesson structure: A typical session lasts one hour. We usually start by reviewing key concepts or homework, then move on to guided practice and interactive activities, and finally finish with a short recap to check understanding. Who my lessons are for: I work with students in Years 7–9 (KS3) who want to: Strengthen English foundations before GCSEs Improve grammar, reading, or writing skills Gain confidence in class and with assessments My background: I hold GCSEs in English Language and Literature and am currently studying English Literature at A Level. This means I bring up-to-date knowledge, enthusiasm, and practical strategies into every lesson. I am passionate about helping students enjoy English while achieving their learning goals.
