About Khushal
Trying to improve grades can be a stressful experience for any student or parent. Most tutors don't provide sufficient insight into progress, demonstrate how they customise lessons, and understand their client's goals fully. My approach aims to address all of these concerns while deepening a student's understanding. My methodology, expertise, and experience have allowed my students to achieve incredible results in short periods. One student was able to take his Final Year 13 grade from 35% (F) to 93% (A*) in just 1 week (16 hours tutored). But, my work has never been limited to just increasing grades. My goal has always been to maximise a student's potential to achieve their set goals, ranging from academic excellence to joining a top university or acing technical interviews. I studied Economics at the LSE, graduating with honours, and have since worked in Banking for 2 years. I taught Economics throughout my 3 years at the LSE, teaching Undergraduate and A-level students, and taught 11+ students for 3 years previous to the LSE. I have also built a software that takes information about a student, translates this information to a profile on their unique intelligence, and recommends teaching strategies. This is central to my tutoring, as I believe that the format allows for a level of personalisation that is currently not being delivered. The software is currently being piloted with 8 schools in India, and with underprivileged students in the UK.

Our first session will focus on understanding you, how you best learn, and where your unique intelligence lies. I create a profile of each of my students using proprietary software and judgement that I have cultivated with >1500 hours of tutoring experience. By using this information, we can accelerate the effectiveness of your learning, making our sessions as productive as possible. We will then use this information to hit specific topics in sessions, taking advice from the most recent studies on learning to ensure that any learning is maintained into exam periods. I am a big believer in guiding a student to theorising a result themselves. This allows students to reason their way to a solution if their memory fails them during stressful exam situations. Closer to exam periods, I run specialised exam technique sessions with each student, so that their understanding translates to grade increases as effectively as possible.
