About Ethan
I am a Senior Mechanical Engineering student who has over 120 credit hours of university engineering courses under his belt. During this time, I have learned that while knowledge is important, knowing where to find that knowledge is even more important. This applies to every single subject I took-- from Algebra to Vibrations. I am also a Certified Manufacturing Technologist with a year of engineering experience at a manufacturing company. This job gave me insight into how I can better prepare for my field and how to learn on the go. After graduation, I will be pursuing a job with a consulting engineering firm to help people with their engineering systems needs.

I make tutoring sessions easy by presenting challenging information in a simplistic, understandable way. The best way to retain information is by taking action, and I take that truth to heart. I will walk you through problems step by step and will ask you questions about key steps in the process so that you understand the "why" behind the procedure. I myself have had many teachers that simply gave steps to solve a particular problem without explaining what each step accomplished. I was often frustrated by this and took to YouTube and Khan Academy to learn the underlying principles about what was being taught. I hope that I can share valuable information I have learned with others so that they too can find academic success.
