About Elizabeth

My name is Ellie, and I have just finished my first year studying English Language and Literature at Oxford University. I have had the best experience studying here, and to be able to share my passion for this subject with my tutees would be a privilege. I want each student to understand how fulfilling studying English can be!

About the lesson

My aim is to help students reach their full potential in their English studies. Whether you struggle to write concisely, find close-reading a challenge, or need guidance on how to ace your entry exams to study English at Oxbridge, I will strive to provide you with a sophisticated level of teaching. I see each student as an individual and I wish to reflect that in my approach to tutoring, catering to your needs so that you get the most out of each session.

Perfect! Highly recommend! Both of my kids (primary Y6 and secondary Y9) do English tutoring with Elizabeth.

We used to do English at Kip McGrath, but the kids found lessons with Ellie far superior and more useful.

I believe anyone doing English tutoring with Ellie is set for success.

My kids have improved massively in just a few months; even their teachers couldn't believe the results.
