About
Hello everyone!
My name is Henriette, and I’m super excited to be your teacher! I’ve been in the classroom for more than 18 years, and I still love it just as much as I did on day one. I teach almost all subjects, but I especially enjoy helping students who are learning English as a second language—language is like a passport to the world, and I want to help you use it with confidence!
Before I became a teacher, I was a flight attendant for over six years, so I’ve had the chance to travel, meet people from all over the world, and collect amazing stories (ask me sometime—I’ve got a few good ones!). Now, when I’m not busy with school, I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my three wonderful kids.
I have a teaching diploma, as well as an advanced diploma in English and Social Sciences, so I’ve got the tools to make learning fun, engaging, and just a little bit challenging in all the right ways.
What’s it like working with me? Well—I’m kind, fair, and I like to laugh! I believe learning should be interesting and enjoyable. I’ll always encourage you to ask questions, try your best, and never be afraid to make mistakes—that’s how we grow.
