John Emery is a consummate professional, one of my favorite musicians to work with. John and I worked together in the orchestra pit for a year long international tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, where John played 5 wind instruments every night in cities all over North America and Japan. In hotel lobbies and days off John would give me tips on Piano playing which I would employ into my general musicianship, and later private instruction.
