About Emilia
I graduated in Latin-Mathematics and received the special prize in history and Dutch. I have experience in individual coaching of fellow students. I do not have a university degree yet but I would like to mentor pupils from primary and secondary school.

I have studied efficient learning strategies. I use this knowledge so that the students acquire the subject matter in a long-lasting and profound way. I map out the initial situation for each lesson. I check what the prior knowledge is and what knowledge, if any, is missing. That way I can start up the learning processes quickly and efficiently. Then the actual lesson follows. It is immediately checked whether the knowledge of the previous lessons has been processed sufficiently. An assignment is provided for the next lesson. Tests are carried out on a regular basis. The testing itself is part of the learning process.
