About David
My previous academic career covered a vast number of themes and topics. My work and experience cover themes ranging from African Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of History, Political Philosophy, Ethics of AI, feminism, philosophy of psychology/psychiatry, psychoanalysis, critical race theory and queer theory. One theme/method in particular underlies and dominates not only most of my previous academic work but also my approach to teaching and the preferred methodology of my work in public relations: psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic theory. It is through my understanding of individual psychology and group psychology that I can identify and address the needs and wishes of various individuals or groups (albeit in the academic or professional setting). Most importantly, it is from my studies of, and focus on, psychoanalytic theory that my drive and passion for scrupulous and creative work emerges. My ability to write creative content (whether in the form of an article, presentation, script or marketing material) and effectively edit written material is as a result of my careful attention to detail; to write, create or edit any content first requires a thorough and respectful analysis of the complexities that make up the student, reader, client or scholar/writer. My openness to learn, adapt, take charge (when needed) and my attentive evaluation of any topic makes me an ideal candidate for any occupation which involves editing, writing, team work and managerial duties.

My teaching method is highly interactional and is based on teaching through co-operative discovery. Reading, writing and constructive class interaction is crucial, in my opinion, to the best teaching experience. Lessons consist of dialogues and general guidance in the chosen field. Each lesson is more so a conversation that a mere lecture.
