- I am an accomplished technical and RFP writer, securing demos for multi-million dollar contracts through my proposals.
- I have a BA in English: Professional Writing and Public Health: Human Disease and Epidemiology. This pairing gives me strong communication skills and an ability to understand and explain difficult, technical subjects.
- I earned an honorable mention in 2022 for General Column Writing from the Society of Professional Journalists while a student at Miami University.

I encourage inquiry-based learning. I believe that true learning comes from empowered students, and I seek to build confidence, because a student who believes in himself will learn.
Typical lesson plan (technical writing):
- ask student to perform simple action (tying shoe, opening an envelope, etc.)
- ask student to describe the action
- ask student to write out the action's steps
- I try to perform the action based only on the written steps
LESSON: Our words are powerful, and we must be direct. This lesson applies in technical writing, but is present in all good writing.
Lessons are for those interested in technical writing, those interested in creative writing, and those looking to become well-versed in classic literature.
