About Claire
With 6 years of professional tutoring experience, I have guided students through every stage of their chemistry education, from GCSE and A-Level studies to demanding university courses. My passion for science and education motivates me to deliver lessons that are engaging, effective, and tailored to each learner's individual needs.

Every chemistry lesson is tailored to help students build genuine understanding while developing the confidence needed to succeed in assessments and examinations. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and university chemistry using a structured approach that adapts to each student's strengths, challenges, and academic objectives.
Sessions focus on simplifying difficult concepts through logical explanations, visual learning techniques, and carefully selected practice exercises. Rather than memorising facts, students learn the scientific reasoning behind chemical principles, enabling them to solve unfamiliar questions independently. Topics including atomic structure, bonding, equilibrium, kinetics, organic chemistry, thermodynamics, and spectroscopy are explained step by step with practical examples.
Each lesson includes targeted exam preparation, worked examples, challenging practice questions, and detailed feedback to strengthen understanding and improve accuracy. Students receive guidance on avoiding common mistakes, interpreting examination questions, and writing high-scoring answers with confidence.
