About Briar
With 9 years of teaching experience, I am a reliable drum tutor who enjoys helping students learn music in a clear and structured way. I teach drum lessons to students of all levels and have successfully taught around 150 learners. My tutoring style is personalized and supportive. I assess each student’s current level and learning needs before planning lessons.
Lessons focus on strong fundamentals such as timing, coordination, groove, and posture, followed by advanced rhythms and fills. One of my strongest skills is simplifying difficult drumming techniques. I use step-by-step exercises and practical examples to make learning easier.
I also help students develop discipline and effective practice habits so they can improve steadily. I believe learning drums should be enjoyable and confidence-building. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable learning and making progress. Whether learning for fun or skill development, I support students throughout their journey.
