About Gaelene
I have fifteen years as an adult educator at Charles Darwin University teaching the common units both in class and online through the learning platform Blackboard. I also have experience in teaching English Second Language to students who were undertaking the Certificate 4 in ESL. And finally I have two years experience in delivering the Tertiary Enabling Programme (TEP).

I provide lessons which are aimed at an individuals needs. I believe that everyone learns differently; and as a dedicated teacher I am prepared to take the time to listen to the student needs. I also understand that every student who undertakes a course needs to tap into their capabilities through demonstration, by listening and by undertaking a task. In this way the learner stands a better chance of retaining the subject matter and building on a tailored, individual knowledge base of their chosen subject.
Sometimes understanding of a topic Is lost during a lecture or online. This is where my clear and calm knowledgeable approach for individuals in an outstanding approach will inspire you to improve.
No need to panic if you are having difficulty understanding a topic or where to begin as
that is my expertise. I will help you. Your anxiety levels will be brought back to a very manageable relaxed feeling.
I work well with those students who are looking for individual teaching styles and I am more than happy to proof read peoples essay prior to submission.
