About Taylor
Hello! My name is Taylor, and though I am still in my final year of school, I believe academic success and athleticism go hand-in-hand. I can't wait to begin my journey as a coach and instructor.
I began playing badminton in Sydney four years ago, and I quickly fell in love with the sport. Practicing 6 hours a week, both early mornings and late nights, I quickly rose to the top of my school, and my team excelled in the Sydney interschool championships.
At my practices, I began teaching the younger beginner students how to play, and I greatly enjoyed seeing them grow in their technique and strength. I can proudly say I am experienced in coaching this sport.
Badminton is the perfect sport for me, and I highly recommend it. You don't have to be a pro to have some great backyard fun with friends and family. Badminton builds agility, is a great form of cardio, and blends strategy with easy-to-learn rules. Give it a try!

I am currently teaching badminton at a beginner level, focusing on the basics of the game such as rules, techniques, form, strength, agility, court confidence, and most importantly, enjoyment! Badminton is a super exciting game, and I wish to help you in an environment where you feel safe and supported.
I really believe a tutor should be focused and dedicated to their student, and should strive to understand how their student uniquely learns in order to work in a way that is tailored to suit their needs and make them feel supported.
Personally, as a tutor, I believe in active lessons with engaging explanations and exciting demonstrations. I think badminton should be really fun for all ages! I don't give up, and I promise to teach you in as many different ways as you need until you are confident in your abilities.
In-person lessons may last whatever timeframe fits you, from 45mins-3+ hours. Lesson locations are flexible and negotiable. I can provide badminton racquets and shuttles or whatever else you need.
