About Ginger
Because I began my own mathematical path later than most, I find it rewarding to support students navigating these critical middle school transitions. Building structures that hold is more important than rushing toward a quick result.
I show my thinking out loud, including the dead ends, because seeing the struggle is vital for improvement. My 1 year of teaching experience is informed by my Bachelor of Science in Math from Stanford University. Perhaps you would like to start with a conversation about your current goals.

Starting with a diagnostic test for every student before we begin allows me to pinpoint exactly where the foundation needs reinforcement. This assessment determines our starting point for topics like coordinate geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
I focus on practical problem solving strategies and mental math to build genuine confidence. Complex concepts become manageable when we break them down into smaller pieces. You get to see the messy, honest process of solving real problems together.
My approach to competition math prep relies on clarity rather than speed. These 9 sessions cover the curriculum while addressing your specific hurdles. We focus on progress. The work remains steady.
