About Jalissa
Hi! My name is Jalissa and I'm seeking my B.F.A. in Sequential Art from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I am also a published author of 3 fantasy novels. I love stories in written and visual art mediums. I love oil painting, charcoal sketching, and brush ink pens the most.
I have art tutoring experience and I've aided past art teachers in and after class at a local art museum. I have a certificate from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in Modern Art and Ideas that I earned through their course on Coursera.org. I have taken several university art history courses throughout the years as well as personal study most of my life. I will help you with the overall art history or specifics (regions, periods, movements, mythology, etc) you would like to learn and explore, and how to find other resources as well.
