About Emma
Hello! I’m Emma!
I hold a bachelor of game design I received from JMC Academy, a course I went through on a full scholarship as a result of my illustration portfolio!
Since I was young, I’ve been passionate about painting and drawing, especially in regards to concept art and character illustration! I carried that passion with me, receiving numerous awards in the arts excellence program throughout high school, and exhibiting in local galleries as well.
Throughout high school and University, I tutored students in regards to art and illustration. I have an involved approach to learning, and always make sure to carefully tune my lessons to help my students reach their goals!

I work in both procreate and traditional mediums, so don’t worry if you don’t have a tablet to draw on! I always make sure to tailor my lessons to my students needs, and recap at the end to find out what we’ve learnt and what we need to go over next time! I am familiar with many styles, but I often lean towards manga influence with a bit of realism thrown in. I take a personalised approach to learning and actively direct the lesson based on how my student best takes in information and what topics they find easy verse what they find challenging. My main objective is always to make sure my student meets their goals and enjoys the process of getting there!
