About Hayley
I am a graduate student in astrophysics with over a year of experience as a teaching assistant and tutoring students. I believe everyone is capable of whatever they set their mind to, even if it is hard. I genuinely enjoy helping others feel capable and confident in subjects that can feel intimidating. I find it very rewarding when someone grasps a concept that they felt was nearly impossible, and I think everyone is able to do this. I am reliable, patient, and committed to creating a supportive space for learning. Whether you're just starting out or prepping for an upcoming test, I will help break things down in a way that makes sense to you.

I like to cater to each student based on their needs and pace. Science & mathematics can be very hard and sometimes discouraging, and I believe that learning should be approachable and not overwhelming. I work to create a supportive, judgement-free space. Whether someone needs help breaking down tough concepts, preparing for an exam, or just building confidence, I will do my best to adjust my methods for what works best for everyone! Teaching has helped me explain complex ideas in a clear, relatable way, especially in subjects like physics & math.
