With being prepared prior to class or session, I have to introduce the topic by means of practical examples (in their preferred manner of speech, but no insults, to get on their level so that I can lift them to mine) . Then apply theories involved in the topic with jokes here and there. Then tackle few exam questions together before they can do it on their own
