About Umar
Umar Malik is an award-winning filmmaker. His films have received widespread recognition and have been featured at film festivals worldwide, earning awards for their humanistic and empathetic storytelling. Through his work, Umar is dedicated to telling impactful stories and elevating and empowering other artists to use their voices and their talents to showcase new experiences and perspectives. Umar believes that together, through all our collective voices, we can start a conversation that can change the world, and he wishes to bring people together to do just that. This is the cornerstone of his work, and he hopes to continue to use his filmmaking not only to raise awareness but also to find real solutions to the problems facing our world and build a better future, together.
