About Sylvia
I’ve been a teacher in one capacity or another for the last 15yrs. In group settings and single student settings. Complex logic to elementary math and all sciences in between. I have three wonderful children and an amazing husband. We also have three cats, one little dog, and a horse! Life is busy and learning is forever. I currently teach at both a faith-based homeschool co-op and at our local home church. I am also currently a student myself of a new language! I am learning Bangla. (Ami Bangla sheekchi.)

I believe that anyone can learn, if they have the desire to be taught. But I also know that not everyone learns the same way. I find joy in helping students of all ages connect the dots they’ve been seeking to connect but couldn’t find the paths between. I’ve taught various subjects in ALL age ranges. From 5yrs to 81yrs (oldest student to date). You are never too old or young to learn the next new thing!!
