I am a junior at St. John's University. I currently dual major in English and Government and Politics. I work with, and for, politicians as a speechwriter or researcher. I also write for a magazine. Currently, I plan to go to law school after my undergraduate studies.

I am an avid English and Political Science lover. I believe in proper sentence structure, as well as cultivation of creativity. First we need to learn the basics though, and study the greats.
The class will likely be structured around the idea of rhetoric as a whole. This might include texts translated into English, analyzed for their rhetorical value.
Because I also study Political Science, the texts will likely be sourced from history and contemporary politics. Context will be provided for each.
At the end, students will be given a creative writing assignment to utilize what they have learned.
