About Jaqueline
Having a strong background in language education, tutoring, and early childhood instruction, I am confident in my ability to support students in developing the critical literacy skills they need to thrive academically and beyond. In my roles as a Paraeducator at both Ruby Bridges and Maya Lin Elementary Schools in Alameda, I have worked closely with students in small groups and one-on-one to reinforce reading instruction, implement IEP goals, and support literacy development across various learning levels. At Daniel Webster Elementary School in San Francisco, I led weekly reading-focused lessons tailored to early elementary students, emphasizing phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension strategies—particularly for English language learners. My academic foundation, which includes a B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in International Relations, along with an A.A. in Early Childhood Education, has equipped me with both a broad and deep understanding of child development and educational theory.
