I have a degree in French Studies and am pursuing a law degree. I have experience translating, interpreting, teaching, and selling travel insurance to French- and English-Canadians. I adapt my teaching and lesson planning to the students' abilities and comprehension. I can teach any grade and any level of French. I believe the best way to learn is to practice until confidence accompanies competence. My favourite technique is to talk to the student about the topic they are most interested in so that they feel encouraged to use French as much as possible and to "create" language by themselves.
