My tutoring approach is personal, patient and focused on making sure each learner truly understands the work. I do not believe in simply giving learners answers or expecting them to memorise everything. I take the time to explain work in a way that makes sense to each learner and adjust my teaching style according to their individual needs.
My lessons are available in both English and Afrikaans. During a typical lesson, we focus on the learner's current schoolwork, areas they are struggling with and any gaps in their understanding. I like to make my lessons comfortable and encourage learners to ask questions without feeling embarrassed or judged. My goal is not only to help learners improve their marks, but also to build their confidence and help them become more independent in their work.
I offer tutoring for learners from Grade 2 to Grade 12 and my lessons are suitable for learners who need extra support, want to improve their marks or simply need someone to explain the work in a different way. Every learner is different, which is why I make sure my lessons are personal and focused on what each learner actually needs.
