Lecture on reading rhythm notes from basics to advanced Reading rhythms to develop skills with the stick stick Control Reading rhythms to develop independence in the battery 4 way coordination Reading rhythms to develop phrases in the battery Reading music scores for Rock, Jazz, Pop, Latin, Brazilian Rhythms and Big Band. Second half of class I work with several play-alongs of songs of the student's choice to learn to actually play along with the other instruments, to take the music itself with all its parts, from beginning to end.
