About Jacob
I am a first year English student at the University of Cambridge having received four A Levels last year. As well as informally tutoring at school, I've recently begun tutoring students in preparation for the Oxbridge application process (including ELAT help, essay preparation and mock interviews). This experience, alongside my A* at A Level in the subject, means I have more than sufficient resources to help you achieve and exceed your goals.

My teaching method is in part inspired by the Cambridge supervision method - small group teaching based around the framework of a semi-informal conversation that allows for the development of knowledge and processes of thinking. Interspersed with more traditional lessons, this style of teaching aims to provide students with all the knowledge required for their course/exam/application as well as giving a taste of undergraduate level thinking and teaching.
