About Sara
I have 8 years of tutoring experience, helping students as young as 4 with phonics and sound blending right up to students preparing for University entrance tests. I specialise particularly in all subjects for 11+ (verbal/non-verbal reasoning, English and maths) as well as interview practice and public speaking - with a background in performance I work with students on how to present themselves and have confidence, from preparing interview material to the basics of body language. I've supported students applying to top UK private schools (including but not limited to Francis holland, NLCS, City, Westminster, Latymer, Channing etc.).

I firmly believe that the best approach is one that tailors tutoring to each individual student's needs, and also want to show my students how fascinating and engaging it can be! After an initial assessment and discussion with both the student and parents, I design a scheme of work based on learning needs, exam timelines and problem areas, as well as writing regular reports for parents and guardians to make sure we're all on the same page. I of course also set and mark homework if desired.
