Hello and thank you for visiting my profile!

I am a CELTA qualified and experienced private English tutor providing personalised one-to-one tuition for English language learners.

ABOUT ME:
I am an experienced English tutor currently working with one of the largest language schools in London.

I am a native English speaker with a clear standard British accent, sometimes referred to as ‘RP’ (received pronunciation) or BBC English. Originally from Sussex on the south coast of the UK, I moved to London 10 years ago.

I have an academic background with both an undergraduate BA degree and a diploma in Journalism. I am also an experienced writer and researcher with prior credits and experience at the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

About the lesson

I provide personalised and tailored lessons that are structured to your personal needs and requirements.

- Academic writing for college and university: concentrating on academic style, formal grammar and essay structure.

BUSINESS SKILLS:
- Lessons in English for specific purposes with particular focus on vocabulary and topics used within specific industries or business sectors depending on your career or ambitions.

CONVERSATION SKILLS:
- Pronunciation and accent reduction: speak English like a native with specialised techniques to help reduce your accent
- ‘Natural English’ Skills. These lessons focus on natural ‘idiomatic’ styles of speech such as slang and dialect.

Cancellation policy: If a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the student will be charged the full price of the missed lesson. I will refund the full price for lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours notice.
