About Arlinda

Hello! I'm an English language teacher who is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel supported, respected, and encouraged to take risks in a positive environment.

In addition to teaching, I am a visual artist, singer, traveler, and cyclist. These experiences have given me the opportunity to connect with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, which enriches my approach to teaching. I come from an Indigenous family background and value cultural diversity, community, and lifelong learning. I value diversity, lifelong learning, and the importance of community.

I strive to create engaging, personalized lessons that meet each student's unique needs and interests. Whether you're learning English for work, school, travel, or everyday life, I look forward to helping you develop the skills and confidence to succeed.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and practical. I create lessons that help students build confidence while developing real-world English skills. I use a communicative approach that encourages students to speak, listen, read, and write in meaningful contexts. Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they need help with conversation, grammar, pronunciation, academic English, workplace communication, or test preparation.

I incorporate authentic materials such as articles, videos, dialogues, and everyday scenarios to make learning engaging and relevant. I provide clear explanations, guided practice, constructive feedback, and opportunities for independent use of new language skills.

A typical lesson may include:
Review of previously learned material
Introduction of a new language skill or topic
Vocabulary and grammar practice
Speaking and listening activities
Reading or writing exercises
Real-life application of the lesson content
Feedback and goal setting for the next session

Each lesson is adapted to the student's level, learning style, and objectives.
My experience working with English language learners allows me to understand the challenges of learning a new language and to provide effective support at every stage.

I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and practicing English. My goal is not only to improve language skills but also to help students become independent and confident communicators.

My lessons are suitable for:
Adult English language learners
Beginning, intermediate, and advanced ESL/ELL students
Professionals seeking workplace English skills
Students preparing for academic study in English
Learners who want to improve conversation and pronunciation
Immigrants and newcomers adjusting to life in an English-speaking environment
Students seeking support with reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary

Whether you are learning English for work, school, travel, or everyday communication, I will tailor lessons to help you achieve your goals.

Arlinda is an excellent professor. She has deep knowledge of the elements, principles and philosophy of art. Additionally, her technical skills are superb and she has a great way of demonstrating and explaining how you can apply these techniques to improve your own art. I learned a great deal from her and I am so happy with the improvements I have made in my own art. Arlinda was able to show me in a way that I could relax and enjoy the process without feeling nervous. She has a good sense of humor and that helps. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to teach them or help them improve their skills in drawing and painting.
