About Amanda
Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am a certified elementary teacher with 7 years of teaching experience. I have taught students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and have also worked as a Head of Elementary, giving me a strong understanding of how to support students with a wide range of learning needs.
I believe that every student can succeed when they feel supported, understood, and confident in their abilities. My goal is to create a welcoming and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.

I am a certified elementary teacher with 7 years of teaching experience, including experience as a Head of Elementary. My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and personalized to each learner's needs, strengths, and learning style. I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, interactive activities, questioning, and real-world examples to make learning meaningful and build confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous learning, followed by an introduction to the day's learning goal. We then work through new concepts together using clear explanations and examples before moving into guided and independent practice. I finish each lesson by reviewing key skills and identifying areas to continue working on.
What sets me apart is my extensive classroom experience and ability to adapt my teaching to different learners. I have taught students across the elementary grades and am experienced in supporting students who need additional academic support, confidence-building, or enrichment.
