About Colette
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how invisible molecular interactions create visible, measurable changes in the world around us. This fascination led me to pursue an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, where I developed a strong foundation in theory, experimental design, and data analysis. Over 12 years of teaching, I have worked with students at various levels, helping them transform confusion into structured, confident understanding.
I emphasize clarity, patience, and adaptability in teaching. I tailor explanations to suit each learner’s style, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps while connecting them to real-world examples. Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment encourages students to ask questions freely and build independent confidence in their reasoning.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with chemistry through continued research, exploration, and problem-solving. Teaching chemistry is profoundly satisfying because it empowers students with analytical thinking, confidence, and the ability to understand and manipulate the material world intelligently and independently.

Lesson delivery is customized to each learner’s experience level. Beginners concentrate on foundational concepts, chemical nomenclature, mole calculations, and simple reactions with patient explanations and guided exercises. Intermediate learners explore quantitative problem-solving, reaction analysis, and multi-step logical reasoning. Advanced learners focus on integrated problems, derivations, experimental interpretation, and exam preparation.
