About Raashi
I have taught for six years to students aged 12 to 18. I started in 2014 with two 12 year old boys who were struggling with maths and helped them get into the top bands for maths in their school. I also taught chemistry a group of six year 11's. They all received A-A*'s in their GCSE's. In 2016, I did online tutoring for A and AS level chemistry for 3 yr 12 students and 2 yr13 students. The yr 12's all received A's and one of the yr13's got an A and the other an A*.

I am a Chem Graduate from Durham and I have been tutoring students for SATS, general year exams, GCSE's, AS and A Levels for 6 years. When I teach, I ensure my students understand the concepts by giving them weekly tests that I write myself. I teach by giving plenty of examples of scenarios, especially in chemistry. For primary and lower secondary students, I have lots of mnemonics and songs to help remember formulas and concepts. For secondary students,I have made formula sheets that can be used to revise for exams. I have worked with a wide range of abilities and am effectively able to push students to their maximum potential.
I am well-versed in exam structures and can cater to all learning styles (visual, auditory, physical and verbal).
