About Catherine
I am a Chemistry tutor with 11 years of experience and a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry. Teaching Chemistry has allowed me to share my enthusiasm for science while helping students transform difficult topics into understandable concepts.
I create lessons that are patient, organized, and adapted to different learning styles. My focus is on helping students understand the reasons behind chemical processes so they develop lasting knowledge and confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading scientific journals, learning about laboratory innovations, and following advances in chemical research. These interests help me keep my lessons relevant, engaging, and inspiring for every student.

My Chemistry lessons help students understand how chemical principles explain the world around them. We study atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, acids, bases, organic chemistry, equilibrium, and laboratory techniques through practical examples and simple explanations. Every lesson encourages careful observation and logical thinking so learners develop confidence while understanding scientific concepts.
As students improve, we work on reaction calculations, stoichiometry, periodic trends, solution chemistry, and experimental analysis using structured activities. I explain every step clearly and provide regular practice that strengthens both conceptual understanding and calculation accuracy. Discussion sessions and revision exercises help learners solve problems more effectively.
My goal is to help students appreciate Chemistry while developing scientific reasoning and analytical skills. Every lesson prepares learners for examinations and future scientific studies by building confidence through understanding and consistent practice.
