About Leela
My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and change in different conditions. This led me to pursue a PhD in Chemistry, where I developed deep knowledge of chemical concepts and reactions. Over the past 13 years, I have helped students understand Chemistry through clear explanations and structured lessons that focus on building strong foundations and confidence.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I simplify complex concepts using step-by-step explanations and real-life examples so students can understand easily. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence and improve their understanding. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me.
I continue to improve my teaching methods and stay updated with developments in Chemistry. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence is very rewarding. Many learners who initially struggle begin to understand concepts clearly and perform better. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand the reasons behind reactions instead of memorising equations without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as atomic structure, bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and basic organic chemistry using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into smaller steps so students can follow comfortably and understand how ideas are connected. I also use everyday examples like cooking, cleaning, and natural processes to show how Chemistry is present in daily life. This makes learning more interesting and relatable.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners focus on basic concepts and simple reactions to build confidence. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, understanding bonding, and solving numerical problems. Advanced students focus on complex reactions, deeper understanding, and exam preparation strategies. I include regular practice and guide students step by step so they can improve their accuracy and understanding. Clear feedback helps them correct mistakes and build confidence over time.
As students progress, they begin to see Chemistry as an understandable and meaningful subject rather than something difficult. Many learners develop curiosity and confidence as they understand how reactions work. This growth helps improve academic performance and builds interest in science. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, clear, and engaging while helping students build strong confidence and long-term understanding.
