About David
My education background: I have a B.S. in chemistry from Iowa State University and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Teaching experience: I taught lab courses through graduate school and I started teaching lectures after my final PhD defense at UTA where one of the teaching faculty taught me how to teach. After working as a postdoc for a few years I was hired at CSU Pueblo and CTU to teach lectures where I taught classes for several years including designing classes and writing exams.
Tutoring experience: I have been tutoring since graduate school. I started online tutoring before there was an official platform (2012) for it and worked with Skype and a whiteboard in the background. My experience has grown and adapted with the improvements made to the different platforms for online tutoring.
I teach organic chemistry, general chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. If you have a question with a specific type of chemistry graduate or undergraduate please don't hesitate to ask.

My goal is to help you understand the course material so that you are able to do the class work and tests with no help. My sessions are student-driven so that we can focus on the areas that you feel weakest. I have always been of the opinion that tutoring should have the goal to make it so the student does not need the tutor. I work hard to make sure that this is the case with every student that I teach.
