About Jackson
During undergrad, I started off teaching organic 1 lab (about 6 semesters) and eventually also taught upper-level organic labs and chem major sections. At the start of my PhD, I was head TA for chem 1 lab and I began privately tutoring on the side shortly thereafter. I tutored for a few months on a different online platform, which prepared me well to learn the ropes of zoom tutoring in 2020, in which I am now proficient and extremely comfortable. Combine this with my strong chemistry expertise and several additional semesters of tutoring all levels of undergraduate chemistry in person, and I think you will find I am the right person to help you achieve your goals.

I will provide you with the framework to succeed in chemistry. During tutoring, you will bring the most challenging and confusing problems from your studying and I will guide you. You will learn step-by-step solutions for every problem until you are ready to face your exam with aplomb. Most of my experience is in organic chemistry, but I'm happily able to tutor Chem 1 and all levels of students.

Perfect! Jackson was very accommodating with meeting times and knowledgeable about organic chemistry. I really appreciated that he worked through difficult example problems step by step and explained the smaller ideas that were crucial for understanding larger concepts.
