About Lara
My passion for chemistry started with curiosity about the forces and interactions that shape matter and life. I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Chemical Engineering, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. Over 11 years, I have guided learners at all levels, helping them understand complex chemical concepts, solve problems effectively, and develop analytical reasoning.
I teach through structured explanations, hands-on exercises, applied examples, and iterative problem-solving. Many learners initially struggle with reaction mechanisms, stoichiometry, or molecular modeling, so I emphasize clarity, stepwise practice, and feedback tailored to their pace. Lessons are designed to build both competence and confidence, promoting mastery and curiosity.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with laboratory research, industry developments, and applied chemistry projects to bring real-world insights into lessons. Seeing students grow from uncertainty to proficiency, gaining independent problem-solving skills and confidence in chemistry, is profoundly rewarding.
