About Mae
My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform in everyday life. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Chemistry, where I developed strong knowledge of chemical concepts and applications. Over the past 11 years, I have helped students understand Chemistry through clear explanations and structured lessons that build confidence and strong foundations.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I simplify complex topics using step-by-step explanations and real-life examples so students can understand easily. I encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence and improve their understanding over time. I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment for every student.
I continue to improve my teaching methods and stay updated with developments in Chemistry. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence is very rewarding. Many learners who initially struggle begin to understand concepts clearly and perform better in exams. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand how and why reactions happen instead of memorising formulae without meaning. In my lessons, I focus on key topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and basic organic chemistry using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into smaller steps so students can follow comfortably and understand how different ideas are connected. I also use real-life examples such as cooking changes, cleaning products, and environmental processes to make learning more practical and engaging. This approach helps students relate to the subject and understand it with clarity.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners focus on basic concepts like atoms, molecules, and simple reactions to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, understanding bonding, and solving numerical problems. Advanced students focus on complex reactions, deeper conceptual understanding, and exam preparation techniques. I include regular practice and revision in every lesson so students can improve steadily. Clear feedback helps them correct mistakes and build confidence step by step while strengthening their understanding.
As students progress, they begin to see Chemistry as a logical and understandable subject instead of something difficult. Many learners develop curiosity about how substances react and change in different conditions. This growth improves their academic performance and builds confidence. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, engaging, and meaningful while helping students build strong understanding and long-term interest.
