About Olivia
In my Chemistry lessons, we explore the subject from its deepest theoretical roots. I take a gentle and reflective approach, encouraging students to slow down and truly understand the ideas that shape chemical behaviour. We focus on the mathematical foundations of chemistry, using equations and models to reveal the hidden patterns behind reactions, structures, and energy changes.
Together, we study physical chemistry, quantum mechanics in chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics. Each topic is introduced step by step, making even the most abstract concepts feel approachable. I help students see how probabilities, energy levels, and molecular motion come together to explain real chemical phenomena.
My lessons are especially supportive for learners who want to explore spectroscopy, chemical analysis, or the behaviour of substances at a deeper theoretical level. I guide them in finding their own way of understanding complex ideas, building confidence through clarity and calm explanation. I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MSc in Environmental Chemistry.
